July in Silverton is unlike anywhere else in Colorado.
The Alpine Loop is open. The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge is running full schedules. The trails are clear, and the river is moving. And this month, the community event calendar is as full as it gets. Whether you are visiting for a long weekend or spending the whole summer here, July gives you more than enough reasons to be present.
Here is everything happening in Silverton from now through early August — along with two properties available for anyone who has been thinking about making this place a more permanent part of their life.
Silverton Farmers Market

Silverton Brass Band Performances

Silverton Summer Sounds

Come See Silverton for Yourself
There is no better time to experience this town than July. The mountains are at their most accessible, the community is at its most alive, and the particular quality of a summer evening in Silverton — cool air, long light, the sound of the Animas somewhere in the distance — is something that tends to stay with people long after they leave.
If you have been thinking about visiting, this is the month to do it.
And if you have been thinking about something more permanent, summer is when that conversation usually begins.
We would love to see you here.
